Information

Axion Lab delivers AI-native carbon footprint reports to PE-backed companies and EU/UK mid-market businesses — a market of 200,000+ firms newly mandated to report Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions under CSRD, SFDR, SECR, and SDR.

Existing options fail buyers on both sides. Traditional climate consultancies such as Deloitte, KPMG, and Carbone4 deliver certification-ready reports, but at €15–25k, ~50 human-hours, and only ~60% methodological transparency. Carbon platforms such as Persefoni, Watershed, and Greenly offer software-like economics, but cannot produce reports that a CFO, auditor, or bank will accept.

Axion Lab sits in the gap: we pair a climate expert team with an AI engine that automates 80–90% of the analytical work, delivering audit-ready reports at €5–10k in three weeks, with 99% methodological transparency. These reports are explicitly linked to the four jobs buyers actually pay for: regulatory compliance, sustainability-linked financing, supplier requirements, and value creation at exit.

Early traction validates the fund-to-portfolio-company go-to-market motion. A $200B AUM PE fund engaged us across 10 portfolio companies in H1 2026, generating €30k won and ~€90k in recurring pipeline. We are also in active discussions with 15+ funds representing $600B+ in AUM.

The founding team brings deep operator credibility: Sergei Maslennikov, climate expert with 100+ reports delivered personally and former Indefi and Reporting21 consultant; and Roman Evstigneev, AI and strategy operator, ex-BCG and ex-Danone. Axion Lab is supported by exclusive partnerships with Indefi and Vaultinum, advisors from J.P. Morgan, Bain, Databricks, and Moody’s, and backing from the Luxembourg innovation ecosystem.
