Bayern Innovativ stands for knowledge management, as well as acceleration of innovations and gives the right impetus. Our vision is a Bavaria in which every viable idea and technology becomes an innovation.

We make innovation possible: Innovation is the basis for success. This is just as true in the global marketplace as it is in small and regional value chains. Only those who are always a step ahead of their competitors can survive in the long run. The Free State of Bavaria recognized this at an early stage and created the best possible framework conditions for an innovation-friendly climate.

Bayern Innovativ – established as the "Gesellschaft für Innovation und Wissenstransfer mbH" (Society for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer) in 1995 by representatives of Bavarian politics, business and science - is an important component of Bavaria's innovation policy. We have been providing innovation impulses for 30 years. We focus in particular on small and medium-sized enterprises, as they often lack the resources for costly innovation management. We enable them to successfully implement their ideas more quickly with tailor-made innovation services.
